Reno Omokri, the former spokesperson to President Goodluck Jonathan, has shared his thoughts over the way most Nigerians spend monies on burial ceremonies.
The former presidential aide said that if America, China, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, will send their officials to monitor how Nigerians conduct their burial ceremonies, they will realize that they were lending money to the wrong set of people.
He went further to say that Nigerians do not have money problem, adding that how Nigerians spend money is the problem.
Reno Omokri made this statement through his Twitter timeline some minutes ago.
“If China, America and the World Bank or IMF send their officials to monitor Nigerian burials, they will know they are lending money to the wrong country. Nigeria and Nigerians do not have a problem of money. We have a problem of how to spend money. Big difference!” Reno Omokri said.
Reno Omokri’s statement may be connected to the ongoing burial preparation of Obi Cubana’s mother in Anambra State.
Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana is a Nigerian Based businessman, entertainer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a show killer. The Anambra State-born billionaire is the chairman and the owner of the popular Cabana groups.
