Pastor with 6 children turns unto hawker to survive after Church closure (Video)

A pastor in Kitui, Kenya by the name Peter Musyoka turned to hawk smokies and eggs after the government shut down all churches in an aim to combat the coronavirus.

Musyoka, who has six children, explained to NTV News on Wednesday, May 6, that closure of churches had made to him and his children to suffer.

“Most pastors are having it rough because they would get something small from the offerings and tithes that they would collect but now we are sleeping hungry,” Musyoka stated.

He added that preachers were delivering their summons through digital platforms but were not getting offering like they used to before.

Musyoka called on the government to consider re-opening churches, adding that the sanctuaries would follow directives set by the government.

On Wednesday, May 6, Kenya recorded 47 Covid-19 positive cases bring the total number to 582.
