Tony Elumelu donates N5billion to various countries across Africa to help curb Coronavirus

The Chairman of UBA group, Tony Elumelu through the Tony Elumelu Foundation has donated a whopping 5 Billion Naira ($14million) to various countries in Africa to help in the fight against Coronavirus.

The 5 Billion Naira is shared between all the African Nations that has the presence of UBA bank.

He donated 2.5 Billion to his home country, Nigeria, 1.5 Billion to other UBA presence countries and 1 Billion for medical centres with equipments and supplies.

The number of Coronavirus cases in Africa has risen above 2000 with South Africa and Egypt having the most of it.
